THE STATE OF PLAY
With the clear re-emergence of athlete activism highlighting social and environmental issues, success is no longer measured by sporting trophies alone. True athletic success encompasses meaningful, mutually beneficial, long-term relationships with sponsors and partners, and standing for a vision for humanity to build a better world that fans are calling for.
To be a superstar by today’s standards, athletes must have two goals: reach for sporting titles at the highest level and use their platform for a purpose they believe in.
Appointed by the Ngounoue family, the team at 17 Sport represents tennis player Clervie Ngounoue to build solid foundations and respond to this challenge.

OUR MANAGEMENT
Our team at 17 Sport has built an evolving sponsorship and career strategy for Clervie, including designing and leveraging her purposeful brand to drive concrete positive change in the world. We built a professional team of experts united to serve Clervie’s best interests and measure her success in two areas: business and impact.

She is also supported by the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and the Champseed Foundation, is following in the footsteps of the iconic Serena Williams by training at the prestigious Mouratoglou Tennis Academy, and achieved a career-high 1st-place ranking in the ITF Junior Rankings in July 2023.

THE RESULTS
Clervie believes strongly in the power of sport to improve people’s lives. As a family, the Ngounoues have been actively redistributing sports gear to underserved communities in Cameroon and the USA, both reducing inequitable access to sport and addressing the sustainability issue of underused sports equipment and gear.
From the beginning of her career to today, we have been proud to represent Clervie. And, at only 19 years old, she has a long career of success and impact ahead.
