ABOUT THE ROLE
17 Sport is seeking an Account Manager to join our Activation Team, as part of the growing US arm of the business, and support the day to day implementation and management of our US client projects. This role would support the day to day development and implementation of one or more key purpose-driven sports impact projects and would include logistic and strategic input, stakeholder management both internally and externally, participation in multiple work streams from development through to execution and reporting.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Day to day management and support of designated pillars of the project or projects, including stakeholder management, client liaison, execution of project activities, and project tracking to ensure on time, on budget delivery and providing support in other areas as agreed with project leads.
Cultivate and maintain connections with external stakeholders—such as athletes, strategic partners, and teams—to support long-term engagement and commitments.
Drafting and presentation of concept decks for designated project initiatives, followed by implementation of agreed initiatives with client and project stakeholders.
Supporting communication across the multiple offices / regional partners and with the broader 17 Sport team across geographies.
Collaboration with the internal 17 Sport team to varying degrees including communications and marketing, creative and activation teams and back office teams, potential supervision of project intern/s, where applicable.
Implication and engagement with 17 Sport internal purpose-driven initiatives beyond the bounds of the described project.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience in an account services role with major brands, sports properties, sport-for-development or agency/management consulting, via employment, internships or freelance.
Strong individual conviction around the power and potential for sport to deliver a better world.
Strong relationship and team building skills.
Ability to work and collaborate in a remote team and manage projects in different timezones, comfortable with driving work forward autonomously and ready to embrace a remote-first working environment.
Strong drafting and communication skills in English is essential. Additional languages are a plus.
Capacity to work autonomously and as part of a team; self-starter, with the capacity to motivate and take initiative and ownership of workstreams.
